As the name mentions it's a tiny hut, elegantly located near a busy road. In the center of the shop you could find a neem tree around which the shop is constructed. Please don’t underestimate! you can find amazing food over there. The special dishes you can get there are "karri dosai" which is made out of Dosai stuffed with either chicken or mutton and "kodal poddi mass" its a gravy dish made out of eggs, rich spices and a lot more. Yummy!!!
Now coming to my story. How I found this place! One fine evening my friends took me there for a birthday party. Not to lie, at first while looking at this shop I thought its just a parrota shop that could be found in every nook and corner of Madurai. But I was wrong. We a group of 6 friends went there, ate a lot of food like each had kari dosai, omelette, mutton, chicken and so on. I was pleasantly shocked by the bill. It was just Rs 450. It was a lot of food but less money.
This shop is 25 years old shop. Whenever we go there we can find fresh and hot parrota available all the time. Many families come here to have a good dinner. By the way this shop will be open only in the evenings (5 pm to 10.30pm).
I have been there a lot of times. Every time I eat it tastes the same as I had for the first time. The meat is fresh and they don't even use frozen meat which is unadulterated and healthy.
Dishes are prepared so fast. we order and in the next few minutes, our orders will be served. If you are really so hungry you could stop there and have some nice dinner. Many people come there for parcel food I mean lots and lots of parcels will be served in a very less time.
As I write this I am craving to go there for a nice dinner. I am going this evening
Next heavenly food I am going to share is PANAIMARATHU KOLI BIRIYANI( பனைமரத்து கோழி பிரியாணி ).....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
